Tung Tongue Cleaning Gel
Tung Gel is a refreshingly minty cleansing formula designed to help loosen and remove bacteria from the tongue crevices. Specially designed by a Dentist and for use with the Tung Brush, Tung Gel can also be used with any Tongue Cleaner or Scraper.
Tung’s unique and specially designed formula contains Zinc compounds which help to neutralise the sulphur gas (what we smell as bad breath) emitted by the bacteria found on the tongue or in the mouth. The advanced Tung formula helps to freshen your breath, loosens, and remove harmful bacteria from the Tongue and won’t clog your toothbrush.
When using in conjunction with the Tung Brush the Tung Tongue Cleaning System creates the most effective Tongue Cleaning Remedy Yet! Tung Tongue Cleaner and Gel is designed to remove bacteria on the tongue to improve oral health and prevent bad breath.
As clinical research shows the that odor-causing bacteria on the tongue is the #1 cause of bad breath, there are is better tool to get rid of that nasty bacteria and “tongue gunk” then the TUNG Brush and TUNG Gel.
Why Not Just Use Toothpaste?
Standard toothpastes often contain fluoride, teeth-whitening and tartar control chemicals that may cause tongue irritation. The highly water-soluble Tung Gel rinses clean, leaving no residue build-up on the brush or on your tongue. When finished, it leaves your tongue feeling tingly and your breath fresh.
Further to this, Toothpaste is often quite ‘sticky ‘and will clog up your toothbrush bristles. Unfortunately, this provides an environment that is ideal for the growth of bacteria when you’re not using your brush.
To top it off, it is a bad practice to brush your teeth with the same brush that was exposed to the high levels of bacteria on your tongue, because it has the potential to introduce those bacteria to your gums and bloodstream!

Instructions
- Shake well and preferably use with a Tung Brush
- Extend tongue and gently brush from the back of the tongue forward to the tip (for approx. 10 seconds)
- Repeat as necessary and avoid swallowing
Tips
- To soften bristles, run under warm water
- After you brush and spit, extend your tongue again, take a deep breath and brush the back portion of the tongue quickly and spit again
- It is entirely up to you to determine how much pressure should be placed on the tongue. Go very light at first until your tongue gets used to it
For Best Results
- Brush your tongue when you brush your teeth
- Replace your brush every three months when you replace your toothbrush

- Use a Dentist Recommended Toothbrush Twice Daily
- Clean between your teeth with Floss or Interdental Brushes
- Use a Dentist Recommended Toothpaste
