Toothpaste Info
Curasept Toothpaste with 0.12% chlorhexidine is fluoride free and for daily use. Curasept’s patented ADS (Anti Discolouration System) ensures no staining of the teeth, gums or tongue. Especially suited to patients with orthodontic appliances or bands but recommended to all as an excellent everyday toothpaste.
All Curasept chlorhexidine products are alcohol free, non-staining and they will not affect your taste perception – they will not stain your teeth, gums or tongue and you will still be able to taste your food.
They offer excellent protection and improved efficacy through better patient compliance. In other words, if it does not hurt and if it doesn’t stain without any loss of performance, then patients will use it.
An ideal gel/toothpaste containing NO sodium lauryl sulphate (“SLS”). Recommended for those using chlorhexidine-based mouthwashes. Chlorhexidine will adhere to the gums and teeth for up to 12 hours doing its job. SLS is a detergent-like substance which washes the chlorhexidine away – something we do not want to happen.
Also available in a milder 0.05% Chlorhexidine with 0.05% Sodium Fluoride toothpaste.
Instructions
- Brush thoroughly at least twice a day or as directed by your dental professional.
- Do not swallow or rinse for 30mins after toothbrushing.

- Brush Twice Daily
- Clean between your teeth with Floss or Interdental Brushes
- Use a Dentist Recommended Toothbrush
- Use a Tongue Cleaner to Brush Your Tongue
