Are your products the same as what my dentist sells?

Yes. We only stock the same professional and trusted brands as your dentist.


Do I need to use an LED light?

No. Professional grade products do not require LED lights.


What is the expiry date of gel?

All products are supplied fresh from the manufacturer and usually have an expiry date of up to 12-24 months.


How many treatments do I get out of each gel?

This depends on the product you are purchasing. See our Complete Packages and Refill Syringes pages for more information.


Where do I store my whitening gel?

Either at room temperature or in the fridge. Ensure the gel is at room temperature prior to use.

What is Teeth Whitening?

Teeth whitening is a process that lightens discolouration’s or stains from the teeth. This is usually completed by placing whitening gel into Custom Fit or Thermoforming Whitening Trays.


What Causes Teeth to Discolour?

For many reasons, however, general ageing, coffee, tea, colas, red wine, tobacco and medication are the most common.

How does home teeth whitening work?

In one of two ways. 1. Purchasing Whitening gel and reusable Custom Fit or Thermoforming Trays - Gel is placed in your whitening trays and worn for the recommended time. 2. Purchasing and wearing prefilled, disposable whitening trays.


Can anyone whiten?

Whitening is generally suited to those who are over 16 years of age. For best results ensure you are up to date with your regular dental appointments and talk your dentist and GP prior to whitening.

Which whitening gel should I choose?

When should I whiten?

Our gels can be worn day or night – depending on the brand you choose. It’s best to whiten last thing before bed.


How much gel do I use?

1-3 pen drops of whitening gel for each tooth you wish to whiten.


How long do results last for?

Once you have initially whitened your teeth, they should always be whiter than they originally were. ‘Topping up’ regularly will help maintain your white smile.


How often should I whiten?

Whiten each day until you reach your desired shade then start a regular maintenance regime; with 1-4 treatments every 2-8 weeks (adjust as required).

Will my teeth become sensitive?

Some people experience sensitivity when whitening. All products contain soothers or desensitisers. We recommend using a sensitivity product whilst whitening.


Is Teeth Whitening Safe?

Yes! Clinical studies have found that whitening teeth with custom trays under the supervision of your dentist is safe for healthy teeth and gums.


Can I whiten Caps, Crowns, Fillings, Veneers or Bridgework?

No. Teeth whitening will not whiten existing dental work e.g. crowns, veneers, fillings etc but will remove stains from around them.
